Sochi Airport triples flights to Egypt's top resorts this spring
Sochi Airport is set to boost its connections to Egypt in the coming months. The spring-summer schedule will see a significant rise in flights to Hurghada and Sharm El Sheikh. Currently, services run at three flights per week during the autumn-winter season.
From the upcoming season, weekly flights to Egyptian resorts will jump from three to eight. Multiple airlines will operate the expanded routes.
AlMasria Universal Airlines will serve Hurghada on Mondays. The same carrier will fly to Sharm El Sheikh on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Nesma Airlines will add a Tuesday flight to Hurghada.
Ural Airlines will also increase its presence. It will operate Hurghada flights on Mondays and Fridays, alongside Sharm El Sheikh services on Wednesdays and Sundays.
The changes will provide more travel options between Sochi and Egypt's popular destinations. No official figures have been released on expected passenger numbers for 2024. The expanded schedule begins with the spring-summer timetable.
