Spent two days in Berlin, riddled with regrets over three blunders.
In October 2022, the author embarked on a two-week train journey through Europe, with Berlin being the first stop. However, the author's 48-hour trip to Berlin was marked by exhaustion and a lack of enjoyment.
The author's trip to Berlin was cut short due to feeling too tired from mistakes made on the plane and train. One of these mistakes was not bringing sleepwear for the overnight flight to Berlin. Despite this, the author was able to explore some of Berlin's famous landmarks, such as its historical sites, artistic street art, street performers, lush parks, and canal-side neighborhoods.
During the two-day visit, the author used trains operated by Deutsche Bahn, which offers connections such as ICE, Eurocity, and collaborates with other European rail services. The author stayed in a hotel an hour away from the city, which reduced the time spent in Berlin.
