Summer Meadow Filled with Laughter, Crafting Activities, and Music

The 22nd edition of Wiesbaden's Summer Meadow has officially begun, attracting children and families from all corners of the city. From July 7 to 11, 2025, the meadow, nestled between the main station and the Rhein-Main Congress Center, will be a hub of activity, connection, and enjoyment.

Admission to this vibrant event is free, making it an accessible and exciting destination for everyone. The Summer Meadow aims to foster a sense of togetherness by connecting children from diverse backgrounds through play, sharing, and laughter.

During the week, children can immerse themselves in a variety of activities, including arts and crafts, games, and outdoor play. They can craft, paint wooden swords, or transform into characters like knights, ladies-in-waiting, or magicians. There's also the chance to learn circus skills in the participatory circus, where kids can juggle, balance, and clown under supervision, thanks to the addition of the participatory circus with Daniel de Groot this year.

The Summer Meadow also offers more active entertainment such as a giant water slide, an inflatable obstacle course, living table football, and a new game called football darts. For those who need a snack break, Tobias' food stand from Bierstadt will be on hand, offering fries, sausages, or currywurst.

As the week progresses, children will have the opportunity to showcase their talents on Friday afternoon. Instead of a big sing-off, each child will present their unique skills, with a weekly winner emerging from the presentations.

Once the Summer Meadow event concludes, vacation activities will continue in Wiesbaden's neighborhoods under the name "Beautiful Vacation Here." For the most accurate and up-to-date information about the exact dates, times, and detailed activity schedules for the Summer Meadow and the subsequent "Beautiful Vacation Here," it is recommended to consult the official Wiesbaden city event page or contact the local youth or cultural departments organizing the events.

The atmosphere at the Summer Meadow became more lively after the rain let up, promising a week filled with laughter, camaraderie, and unforgettable memories.
