Summer travel deals hit 50% off—but hidden costs may lurk

Holidaymakers can now grab summer deals with discounts of up to 50 percent. Travel firms are pushing early-bird offers to attract bookings well in advance. But not all bargains may be as good as they first appear.

Two major operators have launched promotions for next summer. Dertour is offering up to 45 percent off for those who book by February 28, 2026. Meanwhile, Alltours has gone further, with discounts of up to 50 percent—but only if booked by January 31, 2026.

While these deals look tempting, some travellers could end up paying more than expected. Hidden fees or strict cancellation policies might offset the initial savings. Customers are being urged to check the fine print before committing. Alltours currently leads with the highest discount rate. However, the window to secure these prices is shorter than Dertour’s offer. Both companies are betting on early demand to fill summer slots quickly.

The race for summer bookings has begun, with discounts of up to half the usual price. Travellers should compare terms carefully to avoid unexpected costs. The best deals may not always be the cheapest in the long run.
