Sun PhuQuoc Airways partners with M-PAY and 2C2P to streamline flight payments in Asia
Sun PhuQuoc Airways has teamed up with M-PAY and 2C2P to expand its payment options for customers. The new system, called Payment Air Controller (PACO), will offer more ways to pay when booking flights online in Vietnam.
The partnership aims to make travel easier by providing localised and seamless payment solutions across Asia.
M-PAY will supply PACO, a payment orchestration platform designed for airlines. This system supports multiple payment methods, including cards, digital wallets, QR payments, and direct debit. It also holds PCI DSS Level 1 certification and connects with major global distribution systems like Amadeus and Sabre.
Through a single API, PACO can route transactions to different acquirers and automatically retries failed payments to cut costs. The service will first launch in Vietnam, where 2C2P will handle the technical payment processing for Sun PhuQuoc Airways.
The airline plans to extend these payment options to six new Asian markets: Taiwan (China), South Korea, Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong (China), India, and Malaysia. Additional markets, including China and Malaysia, are also under consideration for future expansion.
Worachat Luxkanalode, Group CEO of 2C2P, welcomed the collaboration, stating it would help introduce Phu Quoc to more travellers in Vietnam and beyond. Nguyen Manh Quan, CEO of Sun PhuQuoc Airways, emphasised the need for smooth, localised payment experiences to improve accessibility for passengers.
The new payment system will give Sun PhuQuoc Airways customers in Vietnam more flexibility when booking flights online. With plans to roll out the service across multiple Asian markets, the airline expects to attract a wider range of travellers through simplified payment processes. The partnership between M-PAY, 2C2P, and Sun PhuQuoc Airways marks a step toward broader regional payment solutions for the aviation industry.
