Exploring Nature Just Got Easier: Leisure Buses Launch New Season in the Region

Starting in early April 2026, SWEG's leisure buses will once again depart from Lahr, offering convenient trips to popular destinations, the company announced. Routes will include stops at Geisberg, Schönberg, Langenhard, and Europa-Park in Rust.

A key offering is the bike shuttle to Geisberg, running every Sunday and public holiday from April 5, 2026, through October 25, 2026. According to SWEG, the service can transport up to 16 bicycles free of charge—ideal for cyclists and hikers alike.

Another leisure bus route, operating on Sundays and holidays, travels via Schönberg to Biberach in the Kinzig Valley. For Langenhard, an additional weekday connection is available.

The Europa-Park bus line runs year-round, providing daily service between Lahr and Rust—often without transfers—making it easy for visitors to reach the theme park.

All routes follow the standard fares of the Ortenau Transport Association, and the Deutschlandticket is also accepted.
