Tainan's Wild Cinnamon Fields Set to Become Next Big Tourist Attraction
Tainan's local government and tourism officials have proposed transforming the wild cinnamon fields near the Danei Bridge over the Tsengwen River into a tourist attraction. The area has already drawn significant attention, with over 2,000 visitors flocking to a nearby wild sugarcane field during its annual season.
The wild cinnamon fields, stretching across 16 hectares, are expected to attract visitors with their unique landscape and fragrance. The proposal aims to boost local tourism and provide educational opportunities about the cinnamon cultivation process. Last year, a nearby wild sugarcane field drew over 2,000 visitors, demonstrating the potential of such attractions.
