Tencent Cloud and Ryde launch Weixin Mini Program for Chinese tourists in Singapore

Tencent Cloud and Ryde have expanded their strategic partnership to better serve Chinese tourists in Singapore. The collaboration, announced on 18 November 2025, introduces a new Weixin Mini Program that allows seamless ride bookings. Users can now access Ryde’s services directly within the WeChat app without needing a separate download.

The partnership deepens digital integration within the Weixin/WeChat ecosystem. Chinese visitors in Singapore can book Ryde rides in Simplified Chinese, with fares displayed in RMB. Payments are processed through Weixin/WeChat Pay, making transactions smoother for tourists.

The Weixin Mini Program is now live in Singapore, offering Chinese tourists a convenient way to book rides. The partnership between Tencent Cloud and Ryde enhances accessibility for visitors while reinforcing Ryde’s position in the mobility sector. Payments, language support, and app-free access form the core of this new service.
