Theatre Regensburg makes its debut, welcoming visitors
Prepare for a fantastic weekend as Regensburg's Theater Festival is about to begin! The city will come alive with a variety of shows, events, and activities for the whole family.
The premiere of "LOB DER GERECHTEN" will be held at the Antoniushaus, while "FISCHER FRITZ" will grace the stage at the Haidplatz. For those interested in a musical adventure, "CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY" is part of the festival lineup.
At 11:15 AM, the beloved mouse Frederick will be available for photoshoots with your child's favorite cuddly toys at the Young Theater. This is the perfect opportunity for some memorable family moments!
From 12:15 PM, a screen printing station will be set up for theater motif items. Bring your own items to personalise and add a touch of the festival to your keepsakes.
For the creative minds, a "Kids paint their parents" event starts at 12:15 PM, and a technical speed dating event with a flight show will take place on stage.
Admission to the festival is free, and free guided tours are available at the festival's coach entrance on Bismarckplatz. Backstage tours are also available for a behind-the-scenes look at the theatre.
The costume auction will take place in the Neuhaussaal starting at 2:30 PM, and the costume and prop sale will be at the Antoniushaus from 12:30 PM.
Five golden tickets are up for grabs at the festival, with winners receiving an invitation to the premiere and a special experience on December 6.
Proceeds from the cake sale at the charming café in the Neuhaussaal foyer support the "Tickets for Kids" action. One euro from each bar of exclusive chocolate created for the family musical by Confiserie Seidl, available for purchase at the festival, will also go to charitable causes.
