"Every animal here can kill you" - Three Star Chefs Embark on a Wild Australian Road Trip Adventure

Three celebrity chefs and best friends—Frank Rosin, Alex Kumptner, and Ali Güngörmüş—have completed a five-week road trip across Australia. Their adventure, filmed for the documentary Roadtrip Australia: Three Star Chefs on Four Wheels, took them through four states in a monster-truck camper. New episodes will air every Thursday, leading up to the season finale on March 26.

The trio travelled along Australia's eastern coast, covering everything from the northern tropics to the bustling cities of Sydney and Melbourne. Their journey included stops in the Outback, where they encountered crocodiles and sampled bush tucker, the traditional food of Indigenous Australians.

Snorkelling the Great Barrier Reef and braving one of the world's highest rainforest swings were among the highlights. Rosin later called the experience extraordinary, admitting he had become a huge fan of the country. While he praised Australia's high standard of gastronomy, Kumptner confessed he still preferred German and Austrian cuisine.

This isn't the first time the chefs have embarked on a culinary road trip. Their previous series, Roadtrip USA, was a hit in the U.S., blending travel, food, and friendship.

The documentary captures their adventures across four Australian states, from coastal cities to remote wilderness. Episodes will be released weekly, culminating in the season finale on March 26. The series offers a mix of breathtaking landscapes, wildlife encounters, and culinary discoveries.
