TUI revolutionises holiday bookings with Navitaire Stratos upgrade

TUI has announced plans to upgrade its holiday airline services with a new retailing platform. The company will integrate Navitaire Stratos, developed by Amadeus, to streamline bookings and customer management. The move aims to enhance how travellers search, save, and finalise their holiday plans.

The partnership between TUI and Navitaire spans over 20 years. Their latest collaboration introduces Navitaire Stratos, a system designed to modernise offer, order, and traveller management. Built on cloud-native technology, the platform aligns with IATA’s Offer and Order standards.

Navitaire Stratos allows customers to search for holiday offers, save their choices, and complete bookings later at the same price. The system also supports personalised recommendations and direct access to third-party services through TUI’s websites. Its open architecture and AI-driven tools further improve product and shopping cart management.

Peter Glade, TUI’s Chief Commercial Officer, officially announced the integration on December 16, 2025. The rollout marks the next phase in the long-standing relationship between the two companies.

The new platform will give TUI greater flexibility in managing holiday bookings. Travellers will benefit from more personalised options and the ability to secure prices before finalising purchases. The upgrade reflects ongoing efforts to improve digital retailing in the travel industry.
