United Airlines Adds Nonstop San Francisco to Montreal Route in 2024
United Airlines is set to launch a new route from San Francisco (SFO) to Montreal (YUL) starting July 1, 2024. This will be one of only four nonstop services from SFO to Canada, operated by United, along with Air Canada and Porter Airlines.
Flights will depart SFO at 11 p.m. and arrive in YUL at 7:25 a.m., with a return flight departing YUL at 8:30 a.m. to arrive in SFO at 11:46 a.m. The new route will operate nonstop and year-round, with daily flights.
United will use Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft for this route, offering 16 seats in United First and 150 seats in economy. One-way redemptions using United MileagePlus points start at 15,000 miles plus $5.50 in taxes and fees. The lowest economy round-trip fare for the route is $590 in August. Passengers can earn more miles by using a credit card like the United ClubSM Card for United purchases, earning 4 miles per $1 spent.
United's new route to Montreal is a welcome addition to the SFO-Canada nonstop services. With competitive pricing and convenient timings, it offers travelers more options for their journeys. The route is set to operate daily, providing consistent service throughout the year.
