United Airlines Takes Flight at Sundance with Exclusive Industry Lodge

United Airlines recently hosted its own lodge at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City. The event ran from January 23 to 26 and brought together filmmakers and industry leaders for exclusive discussions. This marks another step in the airline's long-standing support for the entertainment world.

The United Airlines Lodge served as a hub for conversations between key figures in film and media. Attendees took part in panels covering trends, challenges, and innovations in the industry. The airline has built a reputation for fostering these connections, both on the ground and in the air.

United's involvement in entertainment goes beyond festivals. Through its United for Business programme, the airline provides tailored services for industry professionals. These include flat-rate checked bags for equipment, VIP airport assistance, and round-the-clock support. Such perks help filmmakers and crews travel more efficiently.

The company also maintains a major presence in entertainment centres like New York and Los Angeles. With a fleet of over 1,000 aircraft, it operates what it calls one of the largest 'theatres in the sky'. Last year alone, United flew 181 million passengers to more than 370 destinations worldwide.

Looking ahead, United has expressed enthusiasm for Sundance's upcoming relocation to Boulder, Colorado. The move reflects the festival's evolution, and the airline plans to remain a key partner in its future editions.

The Sundance Lodge event highlights United Airlines' ongoing commitment to the film and entertainment sectors. By offering specialised travel services and hosting industry discussions, the company reinforces its role as a bridge between creative professionals and global audiences. This support is set to continue as the festival transitions to its new home in Boulder.
