Unveiling of Four Fresh Spaces on Celebrity Xcel Cruise Ship Prior to Its Inaugural Journey
In an exciting development for cruise enthusiasts, Celebrity Cruises has announced that their latest Edge-class vessel, the Celebrity Xcel, will set sail in November 2025. The ship is set to redefine luxury cruising with seven new, innovative experiences designed to enhance relaxation, entertainment, and shopping on board.
One of the four recently unveiled spaces is the Celebrity Pool Club, a reimagined poolside venue offering a contemporary rooftop design, private VIP cabanas with dedicated service, and a new pool valet service. The Pool Club will transform into the Poolest Day Ever on the last sea day of Caribbean itineraries, with live music, DJ sets, pool games, and exclusive drinks, followed by the Shine the Night poolside party with elevated bites and drinks.
Another new space is The Attic at The Club, an adults-only games lounge open 24/7. This space will feature retro arcade games such as Pac-Man, NBA Showtime, and Golden Tee, as well as activities including pool, darts, foosball, and shuffleboard. It also includes bookable private event space for group activities like karaoke and golf simulation games.
The Spa, another newly unveiled space, will feature Celebrity Cruises’ largest spa yet. The highlight of the spa is the Hydra Room, the cruise line's first water-focused wellness experience. This includes a warm, bubbling pool with massaging jets and heated loungers, part of eight therapeutic experiences in the Thermal Suite.
The Celebrity Xcel will also debut Celebrity’s First-Ever Flagship Retail Store. This interactive flagship store is designed to immerse guests in the Celebrity Cruises brand journey, offering custom souvenirs and a unique shopping experience tailored to cruise vacation mementos.
In addition to these four spaces, there are three more new spaces or experiences yet to be fully detailed but included in the total of seven new elevated experiences that Celebrity Xcel will introduce to offer guests innovative ways to escape their routine and enrich their cruise journey.
