Vietnamese Women's Beauty & Culture Spotlighted in 'Về Miền Đất Đỏ' Art Exhibition
The 'Về Miền Đất Đỏ' art exhibition, showcasing the beauty of Vietnamese women and their culture, is currently on display at the Pleiku Museum in Pleiku Ward. The exhibition, featuring 50 paintings by 30 artists, will run until November 10.
Initiated in 2010, the 'Về Miền Đất Đỏ' project aims to enrich the social and spiritual life of Vietnamese women. The exhibition highlights their inner world, aspirations, and the country's nature, culture, and lifestyle.
The exhibition displays a diverse range of artworks in various materials and styles, including oil paint, acrylic, lacquer, poonah paper, realism, and abstract. Notable pieces include a wood-engraved painting titled 'Rối Nước' (Water Puppet) by Trần Thị Cải, and an oil still painting titled 'Hoa Chuối Rừng' (Wild Banana Flowers) by Nguyễn Thị Hòa. Hồ Thị Xuân Thu, a native of Gia Lai, contributed a lacquer painting named 'Bên Dòng Suối Kon Nak' (Playing by Kon Nak Stream).
