Waterworld Staffordshire Under New Ownership: Looping Group Promises Exciting Upgrades

Waterworld, Staffordshire's popular leisure resort, has seen significant changes this year. The park, featuring 30 rides and attractions like Thunderbolt, the UK's first trap door drop waterslide, was bought by Looping Group in a multi-million pound deal. The new owners have promised upgrades and exciting plans for the near future.

Looping Group, also owning Drayton Manor and West Midlands Safari Park, has taken over Waterworld Leisure Limited and Waterworld Leisure Group Limited. Currently, visitors can enjoy the park with tickets priced at £19.99 until November 3, 2025. The new owners have hinted at grand plans starting as soon as next month.

The Water's Edge Restaurant has already seen improvements with a new menu and enhanced service system. Behind the scenes, £13 million was invested in upgrades in 2024. Significant changes are also planned for the pool hall installations, with guests expecting to see improvements from November.

Wayne Goodall, Waterworld's managing director, expressed enthusiasm about the new phase with the Looping Group. The focus is on enhancing the visitor experience, quality, and safety.
