World's Largest Traditional Kazakh Headdress Unveiled in Turkestan

Designer Akmaral Daulbaeva has created the world's largest saуkele, a traditional women's headdress, measuring an impressive 5 meters 20 centimeters tall. This record-breaking piece has been officially recognised and entered into the Global Book of Records.

The saуkele, adorned with intricate ornaments from over 30 Turkic peoples, stretches an astonishing 600 meters in length. Its design is deeply symbolic, representing Mother Earth cradling the globe and a cradle, signifying eternity and the source of life.
