Cebu's 2026 Mangoes Festival promises a week of cultural and culinary delights
Cebu is set to host its annual Mangoes Festival from 22 May 2026, celebrating the region’s rich mango heritage. The event will showcase local culture, flavours, and traditions through performances, food, and immersive activities. Organisers promise a week-long festival packed with highlights for visitors and locals alike. The festival officially kicks off on 22 May with a Grand Launch. Guests can expect live performances, cultural displays, and interactive experiences centred around Cebu’s famous mangoes. One standout feature is a towering 35-metre Mango Graham spectacle, designed to impress attendees.
One of the main events, the Great Mango Harvest, takes place on 24 May. This celebration symbolises abundance, community spirit, and the deep appreciation for Cebu’s mangoes. Traditionally, the fruit is enjoyed fresh, in drinks, desserts, or shared among families and friends.
The festival is a joint effort between The Mactan Newtown, the Department of Tourism, and Lapu-Lapu City’s local government. Their collaboration aims to promote Cebu’s mango industry while offering a vibrant cultural experience for all. Running for over a week, the Cebu Mangoes Festival 2026 will highlight the region’s agricultural pride and cultural traditions. The event’s mix of entertainment, food, and community activities is expected to draw crowds eager to celebrate Cebu’s beloved mangoes. Organisers hope the festival will leave a lasting impression on visitors and locals alike.
