Join Burien's Free Walk-n-Talk Event to Seahurst Beach on May 3

A free Walk-n-Talk event will take place in Burien on Sunday, May 3, 2026. Organised by WABI Burien, the gathering invites participants for a scenic walk down to Seahurst Beach, followed by a relaxed stroll back up the hill. The event begins at 2 p.m. at a meeting point near 13200 Shorewood Dr. SW, Burien WA 98166. From there, walkers will start at the top of a hill and make their way down to the beach. The descent takes roughly 20 to 30 minutes.

Once at Seahurst Beach, participants can spend time enjoying the shoreline before heading back. The return trip offers two options: a 20- to 30-minute walk up the road or a longer, 30-minute-plus route via the trails. The event will go ahead regardless of the weather. Anyone with questions can reach out to Maureen Hoffmann at [email protected] for more details.

Walkers will have the chance to explore the beach and choose their preferred return path. The event provides a simple way to enjoy nature and meet others in the community. No registration is required, and all are welcome to join.
