Khabarovsk Krai's extended weekend offers history, bees and mountain adventures

Residents of Khabarovsk Krai will enjoy an extended weekend from May 9 to 11, packed with outdoor activities and educational tours. Among the options is a themed excursion called The Furry Soldiers of Victory, highlighting the role of dogs in the Great Patriotic War. Other events include beekeeping tours, mountain hikes, and a multi-day adventure combining rafting and climbing. On May 10, families can join The Furry Soldiers of Victory, an excursion open to all ages, including children. No prior training is needed. Participants will explore a slideshow, visit kennels, and meet northern sled dogs bred for wartime service.

The following day, May 11, offers three distinct activities. At the *Visit the Bees* apiary tour, visitors aged six and older can learn about bee colonies, sample fresh honey, and observe hive operations. For those seeking physical challenge, an 8-kilometre hike up Mount Sinukha is available to beginners aged 12 and up. Adventure seekers can also book the *Rafting on the Anyuy River—Nadge Rocks—Peak 1100* tour, open to ages six and above. This multi-day excursion includes whitewater rafting, rock climbing, a summit ascent, camping, fishing, and a bonfire under the stars.

The long weekend provides a mix of history, nature, and adventure for all ages. Tours require no special preparation, making them accessible to beginners and families. Bookings are open for each activity, with options ranging from educational visits to full-day expeditions.
