Davao's Mega Expo 2026 Merges Three Major Trade Shows Under One Roof

Three major trade shows will combine in Davao next year to create one of the region’s largest business and lifestyle events. The 2026 Philippine Building and Construction Exposition (PhilBex), Travel and Leisure Expo Davao (TLEX-Davao), and Manila Foods and Beverages Expo (Mafbex) will run together from May 7 to 10. Organisers expect the event to draw over 20,000 visitors and generate up to ₱350 million in sales—well above last year’s ₱200 million total. The four-day event will take place at the SMX Convention Center Davao in SM Lanang. Admission is free, though attendees must register online at worldbexevent.com. Over 200 exhibitors will present the latest innovations, from AI-driven design tools and bamboo construction technology to robotics, new food products, and emerging travel destinations.

Industry professionals, including interior designers, will have opportunities to network with architects, engineers, and contractors. The Philippine Institute of Interior Designers will also host sessions, offering insights into new materials and design trends. Beyond business connections, the event will feature summits and workshops, positioning itself as a key learning platform for multiple sectors. Organisers anticipate a significant increase in attendance, with visitor numbers projected to rise from around 15,000 in 2025 to between 20,000 and 25,000 in 2026. The combined expos aim to boost local industries while fostering partnerships across construction, tourism, and food and beverage sectors.

The 2026 expos will bring together businesses, creators, and buyers under one roof. With a target revenue of ₱300 million to ₱350 million, the event could set a new benchmark for trade shows in the region. Free entry and online registration aim to encourage broad participation from professionals and the public alike.
