Exclusive Spring Break flight deal to Sharjah offered premium economy perks

A new premium economy deal for flights to Sharjah, near Dubai, has caught the attention of travellers. Spring Break fares for 2025 started at $1,176 round-trip, though the offer has now ended. The route connects major US cities with a convenient stopover in Doha before reaching the UAE. The flights departed from Los Angeles (LAX) and San Francisco (SFO), heading to Sharjah International Airport (SHJ). Passengers faced two short layovers—one in Philadelphia (PHL) and another in Doha (DOH). The longest stretch, between Philadelphia and Doha, was in premium economy, while the remaining legs stayed in standard economy.

Travel dates spanned March to May 2025, aligning with the Spring Break period. Booking directly through American Airlines allowed flyers to earn AAdvantage miles. Those using a co-branded American Airlines credit card or a travel rewards card could further boost their earnings. Sharjah sits just a 30-minute drive from Downtown Dubai, making it a practical alternative for visitors. The Platinum Card from American Express also offered perks like lounge access and higher earn rates on airfare purchases, adding value for frequent flyers.

The promotion has since closed, but the route remains an option for those planning future trips. Passengers who booked early secured premium economy seating on the long-haul leg. The deal highlighted ways to maximise rewards through airline partnerships and credit card benefits.
