The deal covers routes from Newark (EWR) and Boston (BOS) to London’s Heathrow (LHR) or Gatwick (LGW), with a layover in Lisbon (LIS) or Porto (OPO). Fares begin at $320 for a round-trip from Newark to London, including a stopover in Porto and an overnight stay on the return journey. Slightly higher fares, starting at $343, are available for one-stop itineraries via Lisbon.
TAP operates these transatlantic flights using Airbus A321LR aircraft, known for their modern comforts. The lowest fares include a 22-pound (10 kg) carry-on bag and a 4.5-pound (2 kg) personal item. As a Star Alliance member, TAP also extends perks to frequent flyers with Premier Gold status or higher from partner airlines like United.
For travellers using premium credit cards, additional benefits may apply. The Amex Platinum Card, for example, offers Priority Pass lounge access even for economy passengers.
